What is the SI Joint and What Causes Pain There?

The SI joints AKA sacroilliac joint are what connect the spine to the pelvis. SI joint pain is pain in the lower back, pelvis, and buttocks that can radiate down the legs originating from the SI joint. It can be caused by poor posture, overuse, muscular imbalances, arthritis and other inflammatory conditions, or pregnancy.
